Art Therapy Internship

In accordance with University Hospitals’ mission of To Heal, To Teach, To Discover, the Adult Art Therapy Department at UH Cleveland Medical Center allows graduate art therapy students to train and develop their skills to work with people in a medical setting. They are enrolled in accredited art therapy programs and are supervised by licensed professionals within their field.

About the Art Therapy Internship Program at UH Seidman Cancer Center

Art therapy students enrolled in a graduate-level program who are interested in completing an internship at University Hospitals may contact us to begin the review process for entrance into our program for study.

This process includes but is not limited to a written application, interview, portfolio review, background check and orientation. You may also be asked to role-play in order to assess your ability to work with medical patients and evaluate your counseling skills.

We accept no more than two students per semester. Please contact us well in advance of your anticipated studies, as slots are filled quickly.
