When it comes to preventing and managing heart disease, education is key. The Women’s Cardiovascular Center at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute is committed to providing women with the tools necessary to make informed decisions about their own heart health.   • Heart Disease: The risk for heart attack increases with age, especially after menopause. For most women, though, heart disease is preventable by making lifestyle changes.
