How We Work

The Innovation Support Center (ISC) is a unique pharma capability within the Harrington Discovery Institute. Its members are experts in drug development whose efforts are dedicated to helping Harrington Scholars generate new drugs and therapies.

From the time a Harrington Scholar enters the program, they are paired with a coordinator on the ISC. The pairing is based on the needs of their individual project. However, an ISC coordinator can call on any of the panel members to assist with the project and teams may frequently include several panel members based on the needs of the project. The scholar and their team have monthly meetings with their ISC advisors where they discuss their project, and create a plan for moving forward toward a pharmaceutically-acceptable drug.
