Clinical Research Fellowship

Clinical Trials Fellowship

The clinical trials fellow works as a sub-investigator on both sponsor- and investigator-initiated clinical trials, the majority of which evaluate new systemic biologic therapy for psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and other inflammatory skin diseases. Responsibilities include recruiting, screening and consenting new patients, completing and documenting all patient visits and assessments, and distributing/documenting correct use of study medication. The fellow works as part of an established clinical trials team and is responsible for running a weekly investigator meeting. This fellowship is a one to two year position and is mentored by Neil Korman, MD, PhD.

Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship

The Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship is a two to three year position, during which the fellow works as a sub-investigator for clinical trials, prepares patient reports for a weekly multidisciplinary cutaneous oncology conference, and assists in a resident capacity in lymphoma/melanoma clinic. The fellow is also encouraged to work on independent research projects. Cutaneous oncology is both stimulating and challenging, and this fellowship will enable the candidate to establish expertise in medical dermatologic oncology. This fellowship is mentored by Kevin Cooper, MD.
