Healing & Hope
When cancer strikes you or a family member, information and compassion can give you the strength to cope with the physical, emotional and practical concerns that cancer can bring.
At University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center, our mission is to bring scientific discovery rapidly to patient care in order to lessen the burden of cancer in our region. We are committed to involving, informing and supporting our patients and their families.
As a national leader in cancer research and highly personalized patient care, UH Seidman Cancer Center also provides the community with the latest cancer knowledge through Healing & Hope, a collection of free programs on cancer detection, prevention, treatment, symptom management and survivorship.
Experts from UH Seidman Cancer Center multidisciplinary teams lead our Healing & Hope programs. They present the newest cancer findings, explain clinical and complementary therapies and provide understandable answers to your questions. Our goal is to make life easier and less stressful for cancer patients, family members and cancer survivors, and to encourage people who do not have cancer to focus on cancer prevention.
