Residency Application Procedure

General Application Information

The University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Regional Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Two interview dates are scheduled during the months of November and December. Each session is scheduled as a two-day event. Applicants are invited to our Friday afternoon orthopedic conference, followed by a Friday evening “meet and greet,” systems overview, and an informal question and answer session. Formal interviews take place on Saturday mornings.

Application Requirements

  • Completion of all the basic ERAS application materials
  • Completion of Part 1 and Part 2 of Comlex (completion of USCMC to be determined)

We strongly encourage students to set-up “audition rotations” prior to November’s interview date. We offer both two week and four week rotations.
