Why I Chose UH Regional: I chose UH Regional for my Family Medicine Residency because I was intrigued by the diverse learning opportunity this program offered through the various clinical rotation sites located throughout Northeast Ohio, ranging from academic teaching hospitals to community hospitals to private clinics to rural medicine settings.

Why I chose UH Regional: UH Regional has a wonderful focus on the surrounding community and rural health. As part of a large, multi-hospital system, there are opportunities throughout the UH system to tailor your residency specifically to your interests and career goals. Also, Cleveland is a diverse, lively city with a lot to offer, including professional sports, a wonderful theater district, and plenty of restaurants and areas to explore.

Why I chose UH Regional: First, I loved the seemingly endless opportunities for exposure to sports medicine. Second, I found NE Ohio is an excellent place to raise kids with good schools and safe neighborhoods. Third, housing and the cost of living is much lower than other parts of the country.
