This program is designed to train physician-scientists in pediatric hematology and oncology in preparation for careers in academic medicine.
Fellows are responsible for clinical care in a setting which exposes them to a wide variety of clinical problems in hematology, coagulation disorders, oncology and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Building on a strong clinical background, fellows then enter training in clinical or laboratory research, with an emphasis on translational and collaborative investigation.
