Ride the Rainbow 2008

About the Benefit
It is with great pleasure that the Rainbow Babies & Children’s Foundation announces its third biennial Ride the Rainbow Gala to be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Public Hall in downtown Cleveland.  This event will serve as a celebration of Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital’s 120th anniversary and the children Rainbow touches in our community and beyond.

Rainbow is consistently named the “Best Children’s Hospital” in the Midwest and its Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit is ranked #1 in the U.S.  It has been a leader in the development of comprehensive programs for family-centered care.  The hospital’s 244-bed facility serves as both a primary care facility for children of the Cleveland metropolitan area and a principal pediatric referral center for Ohio and the region.  In all, about 10,000 newborns, infants and children and adolescents are admitted annually to Rainbow.  The hospital’s ambulatory clinic and children’s emergency care center serve more than 100,000 children each year.  In addition, Rainbow is a world leader in medical breakthroughs in children’s health and is at the forefront of research and clinical programs that set the pace for the future of pediatric medicine.  Simply stated, when a child’s life is in the balance, there is no better facility than Rainbow.About the Benefit
