Did you know that the incidence of cancer occurring between the ages of 15-30 is steadily rising, yet outcomes are similar to those from the 1970’s?
Our objective is to bring together various leaders, health care professionals, clinicians, and others interested in learning more about ongoing efforts in the fight against Adolescent & Young Adult (AYA) Cancer.
Discussions will include the importance of the Adolescent & Young Adult specific field and bring better awareness to the issues related to and facing AYA cancer patients, families and caregivers today and in the future.
Experienced speakers will present and lead compelling discussions on the latest in research and care and the issues our patients and their families face on daily basis.
The Symposium and Black Dress, Yellow Tie reception to follow, is an excellent opportunity to bring more attention to our cause and will be an opportunity to learn and share new ideas on approaches and therapy for this population as we move forward.
Our overall goal is to provide the very best care possible to a demographic in dire need.
