Supervised research experience constitutes 19 months of the fellowship.
* Prior research experience is desirable but not required.
Fellows select a research mentor in the division or elsewhere within the medical center, including the any part of the CWRU Cancer Center. Projects range from basic molecular biology to clinical, patient-based research.
Formal training is required for all projects, and those pursuing training in clinical research are encouraged to take courses in epidemiology and biostatistics.
