The Rainbow Advice Center is a special service designed for pediatricians across the country.
The service covers private doctors’ offices phones during off hours. It gives parents immediate access to qualified experts in children’s medical care.
More than 160 doctor’s offices subscribe to the service. The physicians who use it take comfort that their families can speak to an expert even when their offices are closed. The service fields more than 8,000 calls monthly.
The Rainbow Advice Center is part of a national network of 30 children’s hospitals. It puts the expertise and knowledge of thousands of pediatricians and nurses at a caller’s fingertips, 24 hours a day.
In addition to off-hours coverage, subscribers also receive advice and education on how to best serve their patients through telephone services.
