Registered Dietitians are food and nutrition experts. Our role is to help children to maintain their nutritional status throughout treatment and survivorship.

We work with children and their families to assess dietary intake, provide dietary counseling, and provide education on specific diets or specific nutrients based on individual needs. In addition, we assist families who have children receiving supplemental feeding such as tube feeding or total parenteral nutrition.

We can also provide information on nutritional supplements, vitamins and minerals and herbal supplements. Nutrition services are available on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.
