Because this journal is for you alone, write with no thought of sharing it with others. However, you may find one of your journal passages particularly insightful, and think that it may help others navigate their own cancer journey. Some people do.

At the Ireland Cancer Center, we believe the sharing of stories among patients as well as the people who provide their care completes the circle signifying that we are all, ultimately, part of the human family.

To that end we are creating an anthology, (a collection of writings), including poetry, and photographs and drawings submitted by current and former Ireland Cancer Center patients, caregivers, and staff members.

You will receive guidelines for submitting entries and a legal waiver for your signature. We cannot guarantee publication of your work, and because the anthology is an Ireland Cancer Center Volunteer project, no one will be paid for work submitted for consideration or for work selected for publication.
