The pediatric orthopaedics department at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital
The Pediatric Orthopaedic Division specializes in spine and/or complex deformities, and also provides care for a wide spectrum of congenital and acquired musculoskeletal problems in children.
These include:
- abnormalities of the upper and lower extremities, such as congenital hand deformities, congenital dislocation of the hip, torsional variations and club feet
- spinal disorders and deformities, including scoliosis and kyphosis
- neuromuscular disorders, such as cerebral palsy, myelodysplasia and muscular dystrophies
- tumors, benign and malignant
- skeletal dysplasia
- trauma
