The Asthma Center works with the referring physician to provide optimal care to children with asthma. The Center uses a multidisciplinary approach with consultants available from Allergy, Immunology, Gastroenterology, Critical Care, and Behavioral Pediatrics.

Each year:

  • 173,000 children under 18 are hospitalized for asthma symptoms
  • 860,000 children under 18 receive emergency treatment for asthma
