Rainbow has a long-standing tradition of providing a comprehensive research curriculum for pediatric residents. We have created a unique, longitudinal research curriculum which allows residents ample time to complete meaningful scholarly work, while also allowing for ample flexibility in elective scheduling. Residents work on their projects throughout their residency and may use a 4-week elective block in their final years of training to complete their work.

We provide a two part didactic curriculum consisting of a two- track morning series repeated annually.

Our curriculum culminates each year with our annual Science Day. This gives our graduating residents the opportunity to present their work to their faculty and peers. With the resources of our large, accomplished faculty as well as a dedicated biostatistician and program microgrants to fund projects, our residents have had the opportunity to share their work both locally, regionally and nationally.
