Check In

The patient and family should arrive at UH Prentiss Pediatric Surgery Center two hours before the patient’s scheduled procedure time and check in at the Admitting Desk located on the first floor of University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

After checking in, the family will go to the UH Prentiss Pediatric Surgery Center waiting area located on the second floor of University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. Once the child’s name is called by one of our UH Prentiss Pediatric Surgery Center staff, he or she and up to two family members will be taken into the preoperative area.
