A significant mission of University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital Pediatric Blood & Marrow Transplant Center and UH Seidman Cancer Center is to identify leading-edge discoveries about cancers and blood disorders and bring them quickly to the patient. Our transplant center is led by a nationally and internationally renowned team of specialists that is aggressively researching new treatments and cures.


Aggressive Research Improves Treatment

For almost every type of pediatric cancer, UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital’s Angie Fowler Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Institute has an aggressive research component dedicated to improving outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for babies, children, teenagers and young adults.

Our skilled specialists are established members of The Children’s Oncology Group, the world’s largest childhood cancer research organization. The physicians also serve as senior advisors on clinical trials funded by the National Institutes of Health and members of national committees on solid tumors, leukemia and bone marrow transplantation.
