Kids Kicking Cancer

Iris S. & Bert L. Wolstein’s Kids Kicking Cancer program encourages young patients and survivors of cancer and blood disorders to be active and recognize the benefits of physical activity and healthy eating. This unique program was established with a $1 million gift from philanthropist Iris S. Wolstein, in memory of her husband, Bert L. Wolstein. The program is also supported by Cleveland State University, Cleveland Racquet Club, Lost Nation Sports Park, First Tee of Cleveland and other local groups. The program offers a series of free athletic skills clinics in basketball, soccer, golf, tennis and swimming – all of which include lunch and are provided at no cost to participants or their families.
