Pediatric Rehabilitation Services

A castle-themed space equipped with a sensory room, interchangeable “Tumble Form” swings, ball pit and other therapy tools offers a fun and purposeful setting for pediatric therapy. Located in the University Hospitals Portage Medical Arts Building, our pediatric rehabilitation program offers occupational, physical and speech therapy to address the special needs of children. The program serves patients from birth to 18 years of age with various neurological, orthopedic, communication and developmental disorders.

Our therapists are licensed by the State of Ohio and speech-language pathologists are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Our team of knowledgeable experts creates a customized care plan designed for each patient. Our program offers treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to:

  • Cerebral palsy
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Down syndrome
  • Conditions related to pre-maturity
  • Developmental delay
  • Autism spectrum disorders
  • Gross/fine motor skill delays
  • Speech and language disorders
