Nutritional Services

The purpose of the Department of Nutrition Services is to provide food service for patients, employees, medical staff and visitors as well as to provide clinical care to patients via a registered dietitian.

Our registered dietitians provide disease-specific nutrition assessment, intervention, monitoring and evaluation for patients admitted to University Hospitals Portage Medical Center. Nutrition education programs are also offered through the Health and Wellness Center.

Food services are provided through the hospital cafeteria, room service for inpatient stay, and Perks.
