Portage Medical Center Foundation

Building on a Tradition of Outstanding Care

For more than 100 years, the residents of Portage County and surrounding communities have trusted University Hospitals Portage Medical Center (formerly Robinson Memorial Hospital) with their health. Dedicated physicians, nurses and staff have compassion-ately served the diverse medical needs of patients, from birth through end-of-life. As a result, the hospital is known for both superior quality care and personalized patient experiences.

University Hospitals' growth in recent years reflects the health system's strong Northeast Ohio focus and commitment to meeting the needs of communities in expanding regions. UH is optimizing community health across Northeast Ohio with a cohesive system of accessible, neighborhood-based care. Integration with Portage County’s only hospital expands UH's reach while offering new and innovative services close to home for local families.

The mission of the Portage Medical Center Foundation is to support and assist University Hospitals Portage Medical Center in its efforts to serve the needs of the Portage County area residents. The Foundation is the hospital’s primary philanthropic resource for developing new resources. This not-for-profit organization provides the opportunity for additional programs required by the hospital to meet the needs of its constituents.
