Integrated Care for Treating Non-Healing Wounds
The Wound Center is located at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center in the Medical Arts Center 2 building. Our center offers an outpatient program with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses and support staff who offers specialized, comprehensive treatment for patients with chronic, non-healing ulcers and wounds.
When a patient begins treatment at the Wound Center, the care team evaluates and treats the wound, establishes measures to prevent recurrence and informs the primary care physician of every patient’s progress.
The primary care physician continues to manage the patient’s underlying medical condition.
