The Gynecology Department at UH MacDonald Women’s Hospital includes behavioral health specialists who focus on premenstrual syndrome, pregnancy-related and post-partum depression and menopausal stressors, as well as the emotional issues that can arise from gynecological cancers, infertility, sexual dysfunction and other illnesses.

Treatment can range from outpatient counseling to pharmaceuticals. The goal is to regain the wellbeing of the whole woman: both physically and emotionally.
