The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine has major funded research projects studying HIV infection during pregnancy, neonatal immune function and preterm labor. Numerous clinical research projects are performed and serve as fertile ground for clinical scientists in training. Clinical research includes ongoing studies regarding preterm labor and clinical applications of ultrasound technology.
