Getting Here
University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, the main campus of University Hospitals, is located at University Circle in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the past few years, UH Cleveland Medical Center has experienced tremendous growth with a number of new construction projects, expansions and renovations, including the building of University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center, the region’s first freestanding cancer hospital. These projects have enabled us to continue providing leading-edge medical care to our patients, as well as to enhance their stay with us.
UH Cleveland Medical Center is home to three renowned hospitals: University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, UH MacDonald Women’s Hospital and UH Seidman Cancer Center.

Finding Your Way Inside UH Cleveland Medical Center
UH Hospital Maps gives patients and visitors detailed walking directions to find your way to departments, restrooms, cafes, registration areas and more. You can also share your route to give family members or caregivers details on where to meet you for your appointment.
Parking
An 832-space parking garage is available for patients and visitors. From Euclid Avenue, the garage can be entered off UH Drive. Pay On Foot Kiosks are located in Lerner Tower 2nd floor near the skywalk to the garage and Seidman Cancer Center main lobby.
Valet parking service for patients/visitors who are disabled or need assistance is available weekdays, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Cost ranges from $6 to $15 per day.
Handicapped parking spaces are available and clearly marked in all designated parking areas. Wheelchairs are provided for patient use.
Patient Services
The safety, privacy and comfort of our patients is our primary concern. All of our soundproofed patient rooms are single-occupancy with large windows offering scenic views of the outdoors and come equipped with flat-screen TVs, in-room refrigerators and areas for family members, friends and caregivers.
We provide a variety of resources to help our patients navigate their hospital visit:
- Your hospital stay: Room amenities, patient advocacy, meals, going home and more.
- Billing, insurance & medical records: pay your bill, pricing information, accepted insurance and more
- Personal Health Record: view your electronic medical record, lab results and request an appointment
- Language interpretation services: Access 24/7 translation services in more than 180 languages, including sign language.
Visitor Services
Our goal is to ensure that family and friends visiting our patients have access to the information and services they need to make their visit enjoyable, with as little stress as possible. Visitor policies are the same at all UH medical centers and are outlined here.

Smoking Policy
For the health and safety of our patients and staff, UH Cleveland Medical Center is a smoke-free campus. Visitors, patients and staff are asked to refrain from smoking in any area of the hospital or hospital grounds.
UH Health Talks
UH is bringing our health experts to you through a series of virtual health talks. The virtual seminars include a presentation by physicians who are experts in their field, followed by a Q&A session.
Wheelchair Assistance
University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center has six wheelchair accessible hospital entrances, indicated with a wheelchair symbol on the parking map. If you need a wheelchair, please ask an Information Desk Receptionist or Greeter at entrances for assistance. Greeters can escort you to various patient care locations.
