Menopause is the permanent end of menstruation. It represents a transition into a new phase in life, and can impact a woman’s health and well-being.

Menopausal symptoms include, but are not limited, to:

  • Hot flashes
  • Sleep problems
  • Vaginal dryness/pain with sexual activity
  • Cognitive changes

University Hospitals MacDonald Women’s Hospital is offering a free, 4-week menopause education series to provide women with tools and resources to make the best decision for their menopause care. An interdisciplinary team of UH health professionals will conduct these weekly education sessions, where they will answer questions, address concerns and discuss treatment options related to the hormonal, physical, and cognitive changes of menopause. To register, please call 440-720-3250.
