Description:

If you like digging in the dirt or simply want to boast to your neighbors about your home-grown veggies and flowers, then a Community Garden is the place for you. Brenda Junkin, a member of the Bedford Community Garden, will help you learn about and actually work garden plots. The concept of the Community Garden is not strictly about growing and gathering fresh, healthy vegetables for the individual gardener, it's also about sharing the harvest. We do our best to donate 10 percent of our harvest to local food pantries, churches and to the City of Bedford to add fresh, seasonal food to the boxes they make up every month for families in need.

Weekly as needed for weeding and watering.
