The Lodge at Geneva State Park

If you or your primary care physician believe you may be suffering from a sleep disorder, participating in a painless, non-invasive study at the Center for Advanced Sleep Medicine could change your life.

Unlike other hospital-based sleep programs, University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center’s facility is housed completely within the Lodge at Geneva State Park. There you’ll discover a peaceful, private setting and first-class accommodations that promote a restful sleep.

When you stay at the Lodge as a guest of the center, you’ll experience these superior capabilities and amenities:

  • 2,068 square feet of dedicated space on the top floor of the Lodge with private entrance
  • A state-of-the-art observation suite featuring complete monitoring and diagnostic capabilities
  • Four private guest bedroom suites, each with a full bath
  • Convenient, dedicated parking
  • Complimentary breakfast the morning after your monitoring session
  • Full access to the Lodge’s indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center
  • Rapid sleep study results with physician follow-up, detailed diagnosis and treatment options

Sleep study guests are typically monitored overnight. For a narcolepsy study, a Multiple Sleep Latency Test is conducted, which requires the guest to be observed while taking as many as five naps during the day.

Sleep disorder treatments may include behavioral therapy (conducted at the center), medication, light therapy for circadian disorders and prescribed ventilation masks for apnea cases.
