Current Volunteer Opportunities at UH Geneva

The following list represents some areas of service and opportunities to volunteer at University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center.

We will make every effort to honor your preferences regarding placement. However, placements are based on hospital needs and your time and availability. The minimum age to volunteer is 15 years and you must be a sophomore in high school. Some positions may require a higher age.

Clerical Scan
File and answer phones Monday through Friday evenings, 4 – 9 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. (four hour shifts).

One to One Patient Contact
Work directly with patients and provide services, as well as emotional support.

Front desk in University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute
Greet patients and direct to waiting area on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
