Specialized Therapy Promotes Drainage and Healing in Patients with Lymphedema

The certified lymphedema therapists at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, Ohio offer lymphedema management for patients with a build-up of fluid due to damage or blockage within the lymphatic system, sometimes caused by cancer or cancer treatments. UH Geauga Medical Center is a certified Lymphedema Center through the National Lymphedema Network.

  • Compression bandaging
  • Education
  • Exercise
  • Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD)

This treatment may also benefit those with venous insufficiency, lipedema, and other conditions of the upper and lower extremities.
