About Our Survey

At University Hospitals, we believe in providing patients with all the information they need to make educated decisions about their health care and to choose the right doctor to meet their needs. That is why we partner with the independent patient satisfaction company Press Ganey to survey patients about their experiences at UH facilities and with UH physicians. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of care and are dedicated to creating a positive patient experience for every individual who sees a UH doctor.

This was a very refreshing interaction. I was very pleased with this doctor. I saw an OB/GYN a few years ago that was very rude and made me avoid going to a doctor until now. Dr McNamara was very friendly, encouraging and someone I feel I can trust.

The doctor didn't ask me if I had any additional questions or concerns. She finished the exam and left the room. One time she sat down & answered my questions. this past time she seemed hurried.

Very happy with concord office and all staff. New Dr to me d/t original unavailability. She was absolutely wonderful. I'm so sorry I forgot her name as it was first time meeting her. Dr mackamire? However, the receptionist was very kind and deserved award points. There was a communication error with location for appointment and when I arrived, it was Chardon office, and not concord. I drove to concord, stressed about appointment and receptionist calm and genuine. Relieved my stres and was seen in reasonable time. MA was very nice as well.

Dr.McNamara treats you like "family"--you feel at ease discussing anything with her. I would rate her an A+ doctor and highly recommend her.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2015, Patricia McNamara, MD did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
