Roy Buchinsky, MD, is the Director of Wellness at University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center, which includes the Executive Health Program, employee wellness programs, community outreach programs and integrated medicine.
Dr. Buchinsky is passionate about strategically aligning the outstanding medical resources of University Hospitals within Northeast Ohio communities. These medical services provide health promotion and preventive programs that enable people to enhance their quality of life.
Dr. Buchinsky attended the University of the Witwatersrand Medical School in South Africa and completed his residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland. For the past 18 years, Dr. Buchinsky has practiced medicine as an internist with a strong emphasis in preventive health and wellness. He is board certified in internal medicine.
When Dr. Buchinsky is not taking care of patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, running marathons, playing tennis and watching Cleveland’s sports teams.

Roy Buchinsky is a world-class doctor. He cares deeply about his patients and I consider him to be a partner in my health care. Overall UH system has some bureaucratic hassles like new records systems, wait times, etc but all worth it to have my primary care physician be Dr Buchinsky.

Dr. Bushinsky provides excellent care, and I never feel rushed or judged. It's rare these days that Doctors are able to spend time with you and get to know about your life and heath. I think because he does this he is a much better care provider, and doesn't prescribe unnecessary meds or tests.
