Patient Experience Reviews
Always a good experience, been a patient for years.
*** Once I got into room, I was taken care of appropriately ***
Dr Smith and his staff are the best!
Always an outstanding experience with Dr. Scott Smith and his associates & staff. Thorough, professional, and courteous from check in to check-out. Dr. Smith always spends an abundant amount time to address & review any health-related issues that may come up at my semi-annual check-ups. And always with a personal touch, as well. When needed, his specialist referrals have been outstandingtypically the best the Portage UH network has to offer. Thanks again to Dr. Smith and the whole crew at the Streetsboro UH Health Center.
I'd like to thank Dr Scott for helping me take better care of myself and a shout out thanking *** for always being so nice and whoever is usually at the desk is also very nice happy New Year
Provider is quite knowledgeable, a true professional genuinely focused on helping me maintain good health.
Very happy with Dr Smith.
Dr. Smith provides excellent care.
All expectations w/Dr Smith & his staff were met, as always!
Everyone is great
I trust Dr. Smith totally, He takes very good care of me.
Dr. Smith is hands down the best primary care physician I've ever had. He is always very friendly, kind, and informative and attentive to any questions or concerns I may have. I hope he continues to practice for a very long time, even though he will likely retire one day and that will be a sad day for my husband and I!
I'm extremely happy with Dr. Smith. While I waited for him longer than 15 minutes, I knew that with that, he'd spend all of the time with me needed to cover everything. I'd rather wait a little bit and have him spend time with me rather than just rush me out the door to stay on schedule.
ALWAYS GOOD
Dr Smith and his staff are awesome
Feel well taken care of by Dr Smith and nurse ***.

All was a good experience .
In all, very understanding and kind, I appreciate them, Thank you God Bless
I am very pleased with Dr. Smith and his staff. I had to have blood work done that day and I have to give the ladies in the lab a big shout out. I did not have to wait but 2 0r 3 minutes to be called back. *** was so pleasant, she explained just what she was going to do and was careful to verify all my information. She was quick and painless and asked if I had any questions or concerns. She and the other techs there are vey good at what they do and with the patients....good job ladies and a special thanks to ***.
Dr Smith and his nurse are the best I am so glad I found him

Very satisfied with Dr Scott Smith
Hands down Dr. Smith is by far the best physician I have ever had.
I always receive great care from Dr Smith and his staff!!!
Dr. Smith is very personable and caring.
I could not speak more highly of Dr. Scott Smith, as a professional medical provider and as a human being who obviously truly cares for his patients. He has always been far more than my primary care physician, becoming almost a friend. A week prior to this most recent visit I had lost my Mom. Dr. Smith was empathetic and kind during the appointment, and he actually spoke with me about my feelings, about my need to take care of myself, to grieve. I have in the past and will continue to recommend Dr. Smith to anyone - I already have steered two sisters and my oldest brother to his office over the years. In addition, Teresa is always a ray of sunshine and also professional every moment. And - like Dr. Smith - she performs her job with a kindness and empathy not found in every medical practice. You have my permission to pass this on to both Dr. Smith and *** and to use my comments. Good people doing important work in such a way deserve to be recognized and honored publicly. God bless them ***
Dr. Smith listens and takes the time needed to discuss any issues.
Outstanding experience.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
