My daughter and I appreciated Dr Sivarajah's thorough discussion of hyperparathyroidism and what he might expect to find. Two additional studies were ordered at the first appointment. We returned several weeks later for follow up with the findings of the study I would definitely recommend him.

The doctor drew a picture of the area of concern adding in representations I had not discovered in the materials I read beforehand. This made clearer the needed for additional studies. My daughter and I agreed the appointment was very helpful

Most engaged and professional Physician I have had in many years. And also a great teacher in showing me how to care for my own wound care at home. He also stayed in my room and watched me tend to my own wound and gave me advice and self confidence that I could do it. And I knew that I was in good hands with him and his team. I am very grateful.

Very impressed with how UH is handling wait times. Providers was great. Clerical staff was helpful and friendly. Please get rid of the masks. Wearing a mask for a few min in the office while being everywhere else without one is not based on science

I'm extremely critical about providers services, therefore I must say that the time and care I received from Dr. Maheshwaran Sivarajah was the best care I've received in a very long time.I felt completely at ease while in his care and I am very happy about how well he listens to my concerns and immediately develops a plan of action while keeping my best interests in mind. I can't say enough good about how positive my experiences have been with him.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
