About

Geetha Mohan, MD, FACC, is an expert interventional cardiologist at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. She has a steadfast commitment to providing the highest quality patient care with a dedication to clinical excellence.

Dr. Mohan completed her internal medicine residency, cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland and is board certified in interventional cardiology. She specializes in advanced interventional procedures including coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention, balloon angioplasty and stent placement. In particularly complex cases, she works hand-in-hand with other specialists at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute to ensure an all-encompassing team approach.

Dr. Mohan was the first foreign medical graduate to be accepted into the internal medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University, the first female fellow in interventional cardiology at University Hospitals of Cleveland and the inaugural female cardiologist to join North Ohio Heart, Inc.

She is known for her meticulous approach to diagnosis, taking the time to comprehensively understand each patient's unique history and health profile before devising a personalized treatment plan. She believes that physical, emotional and mental health are integral to heart health.

When not in the hospital, Dr. Mohan enjoys traditional Indian dance, cooking wholesome meals and spending quality time with her husband and son. A blend of advanced medical care and warm, personalized attention has made Dr. Mohan a trusted name in Cleveland cardiology for the last three decades.
