Patient Experience Reviews
Rose is great to work with on so many levels. ***
Very satisfied with the provider and staff ***
Feel that I am in good hands with my provider
So far everyone I have seen in the UH system has been very positive and helpful.
This provider and the entire staff was easily the most pleasant doctors office I have been to. I was so impressed with the kindness, professionalism and care I received from everyone I came in contact with. It was very refreshing. Thank you
Doctor was very caring and kind.
The meeting with Rosane was a phone call meet. *** Everyone in this hospital and the ahuda center is especially attentive. I never had service like that previously. We went through an a-fib operation and all I can say is I would go through any care or thing that these doctors or specialists recommend. I am 80 years old and I feel great. All because of the complete professionalism of your staff and hospitals. This includes doctors, nurses, cleaning staff and food servers. I trust my life to these people. They are the greatest. Thank you very much
Rose Casal was a very polite and caring individual. She was very easy to talk to and genuinely expressed a deep concern regarding my health. Her assistant, *** was equally caring and very nice to deal with and gave me the assurance I needed.
Great experience.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Rosanne Casal did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
