Dr Beene is excellent with kids and parents. She shows genuine caring and listening to all concerns. She takes the time to take a thorough history and examine. She discusses and explains the assessment and plan. She managed to do a fantastic job for a complex health issue we came in, eventhough I saw on my appointment notification that the time allocated was only 10 minutes. She sure spent more time with us. Consider giving doctors more time with their patients. If she had only used the 10 minutes the Clinic schedule gives for a same day she wouldn't be able to do all that she did for us. I feel blessed Dr Beene is my child's doctor.

Excellent- my son had to go by himself as I was working and she explained everything to him and the prescription she was sending in.

We have been at this office since our child was 4. She is now 17.5. We could not have asked for better care from the staff, nurses and doctors. Dr *** is our hero but Dr Beene is not far behind.

Dr. Beene is the best- she always takes time to explain things thoroughly and listens to our concerns as parents. It truly feels like she takes our opinions to heart when determining a care plan for our child. She never rushes through the appointments or skips over things

Physician was amazing. Front desk and MA or nurse were not friendly/interactive with my daughter whatsoever. Super disappointing, because Dr. Beane was great. But the staff was not kind/comforting to her in any way. Complete opposite of our previous peds office in ***

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Lauren Beene did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
