About
Eli Silver, MD, is a pediatric specialist in allergy and immunology in the Division of Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. He also is Assistant Professor, Pediatrics, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Silver is board certified in both pediatrics and allergy/immunology. His special interests include food allergy, chronic hives, eczema and asthma. He joined the University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital staff in 2008.
Dr. Silver completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn., graduating magna cum laude, and earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, N.Y., in 2002. He completed a pediatric residency at Infant and Children’s Hospital of Brooklyn, N.Y., and a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Mo.
Dr. Silver’s research interests include bronchiolitis and pediatric asthma, and he has presented abstracts at medical meetings and published in professional journals on these specialty areas. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.

Dr Silver is the best doctor my son has seen. He gives thought to the situation. He listens with an open mind to the medical issues and possible causes. I called after hours on a Friday.
