About our unit:

• 14 bed unit, newly renovated
• ALL private rooms
• Staff mix includes RNs, LPNs, unit secretary and nursing assistants
• Relationship-Based Care Model which takes into account the importance of establishing a trusting relationship between patients/family members and nursing which encourages the patient and family’s maximum participation in their care
• Variety of diagnoses seen including:: Congestive heart failure, pneumonia, urinary tract infection, sepsis, gastroenteritis/dehydration, mental status change, COPD, pancreatitis, physical deconditioning, and post-operative care of surgical patients
