When Dr. Seeds told me that my knee needed a replacement, I immediately remembered the wonderful experience my wife had at Conneaut Medical Center when she had her knee replacement.
My first step in preparation for my surgery was the cardiac workup with Dr. Osman, who obviously is a skilled cardiologist. The appointments were made quickly with my convenience in mind. All my other tests were done promptly with efficient staff.
My hospital stay commenced with a cheerful welcome by Dawn, a nurse who completed my admission with care and concern. Ivy, another nurse, transported me to surgery and explained the procedure routine. My one feat was the block anesthesia. Thanks Frank, I didn’t even know when you did the procedure.
My wife was kept well informed as to my arrival in recovery and my condition.
My arrival at the Ohio Bone & Joint Institute was met with skill and efficiency. My entire post op period was monitored with skill and professionalism. All the nurses were very good.
Again, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the unit the infection control displayed by all personnel and continuity of care by the nursing staff.
Dr. Seeds and Dr. Huston both visited me and answered any questions I had, and offered suggestions for my recovery.
The Physical Therapy department was very good and offered needed encouragement.
My stay ended with the elegant meal for two. What a finale.
The Ohio Bone & Joint Institute is truly the “Jewel of the East.”
