Patient Care Advocacy

University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center’s Patient Care Advocates help patients resolve problems. They can help with various issues, including communication, policies and procedures, quality of care, safety, lost items, advance directives and general information about the hospital and community. If you encounter a problem, we encourage you to talk directly with your care provider first. If this effort doesn’t result in a satisfactory resolution of the problem, or if you prefer to discuss your concern with a third party, please contact the Patient Care Advocate office. One of our representatives will investigate the problem and explore resolutions. Please feel free to contact us by phone, email, in writing or in person. We request that you schedule in-person appointments in advance.
