Financial Assistance Program
University Hospitals is committed to serving all patients regardless of their financial status or ability to pay. Through our Hospital Charity/Financial Assistance Program, we provide discounts on hospital bills for Ohio residents who do not have health insurance and who meet certain criteria. The amount of the discount is based on the patient’s or family’s income and federal poverty guidelines. UH Cleveland Medical Center financial counselors help patients through the application process.
