If the fellow is scheduled to be at a satellite then she/he drives out and arrives around 0800-0830 depending on what time conference ends. The length of the day depends on what is scheduled.
Fellows will notice a stark difference in efficiency of the staff at these facilities that will allow 20 cases to be done by 1pm as opposed to the constraints at main campus which include turnover time and lack of ancillary staff support. Usually operative days let out sooner than clinic days.
The average departure time is about 1500 for OR days and 1600-1800 for clinic days. Depending on what side of town you live on the commute home can be from 5 minutes to 45 minutes. It is important to have a reliable vehicle, especially with the winters in Cleveland.
