Patient care and scholarship - " Curare et studere"

We will practice and teach patient sensitive perioperative anesthesiology, relieving pain and suffering and maintaining life functions, and develop and appreciate new knowledge.

Scholarship
Scholarship explores the world of the mind. We appreciate and support scholarly activities, and endorse the pursuit of the truth in these endeavors.

Research
Research is the discovery of new knowledge and the evaluation and application of new knowledge to solving old problems. We support those who work in basic or applied research.

Teaching
A teacher transmits knowledge, skills and ideals. We will all always seek opportunities to share our knowledge and skills and be a model to those following after us.

Patient Care
Patient care is the essence of medicine. We will provide our patients with dedicated, excellent, compassionate care, and always be conscious of their individual uniqueness and of their rights to privacy and courtesy.

Ethical Behavior
Physicians are their patients' advocates. We will not compromise our patients' just needs for any reason.

People
