Susan Redline, MD, MPH , is a Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine and is the Director of UHC's Sleep Disorders Center. She is internationally known for her research on the causes and consequences of sleep disorders. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, with special areas of interest including genetic causes for sleep problems and the impact of sleep disorders on heart function and diabetes.

Reena Mehra, MD, MS , is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and serves as the Medical Director of the Adult Sleep Laboratory. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Her expertise is in the diagnosis and management of sleep apnea, with special interests in sleep apnea-associated cardiovascular disease. She is interested in the clinical management of narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome and circadian rhythm disorders.

Carol Rosen, MD , is a Professor of Pediatrics and Medical Director of the Pediatric Sleep Laboratory. She is a nationally known Pediatric Sleep Medicine specialist with expertise in all sleep problems that impact children and their families, which includes sleep apnea, CPAP for children, narcolepsy, sleep walking and other night wakings, unusual movements in sleep, restless legs syndrome, insomnia, teen sleep problems, and sleep problems in children with special needs.

Jonathan Baskin, MD , is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery as well as Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. His expertise is in the surgical treatment of upper airway obstruction in Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

Howard Hall, PhD, PsyD , has been trained in, certified and teaches non-pharmacological relaxation, biofeedback, and cognitive behavioral approaches to common sleep problems in adults and children, such as insomnia, circadian sleep rhythm disorder, nightmares and adjustment to CPAP. He emphasizes holistic behavioral approaches to managing sleep disorders.

Mustafa Kahriman, ABSM, ABPN , is trained in Sleep Medicine, Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy. His interests include neurological disorders that impact or are expressed in sleep.

Sanjay Patel, MD, MS , joined the medical staff in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in 2005 after completing training at Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania. His interests include the genetic basis of sleep apnea as well as the metabolic disorders associated with sleep disorders. Clinically, his expertise is in the management of sleep apnea, obesity hypoventilation syndrome and pulmonary disorders impacted by sleep.

Mark Scher, MD , is a Professor of Pediatrics, Division Head of Pediatric Neurology, and Director of the Programs in Pediatric Epilepsy and Fetal/Neonatal Neurology. He is interested in children with sleep disturbances that occur in the context of other neurological disorders, including the relationship of sleep and epilepsy.

Kingman Strohl, MD , is a Professor of Medicine, Anatomy, and Oncology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He is internationally known for his expertise in control of breathing during sleep. His special interests include clinical management of obstructive and central sleep apnea and sleep-related breathing disorders in neurological disorders.
