Ideal for patients demonstrating potential for improvement to receive daily intensive rehabilitation and assistance from an experienced team of nurses, the Hanna House Skilled Nursing Center houses 50 sub-acute care beds, private and semi-private rooms, multipurpose rooms and patient lounges as well as administrative and rehabilitation services. This availability of an on-site sub-acute care facility provides numerous advantages, among them a reduced acute care length of stay for specific patient populations; allows for a broader range of services and level of care beyond what is currently available at freestanding facilities; and provides physicians and patients with immediate access to skilled nursing beds. Length of stay varies; however, patients are generally discharged home after 12 to 14 days.
