The Department of Dermatology is conducting an investigational study for patients with lupus that manifests in the skin and affects specific cells in the immune system. |

| Description: |
The Department of Dermatology is conducting an investigational study for patients with lupus that manifests in the skin and affects specific cells in the immune system. The research study is approximately 20 weeks long and consists of 21 visits (including two overnight stays in the hospital). Compensation will be provided. |
| Criteria: |
Participants must be between 18 and 60 years old and continue to have skin disease despite standard treatment. Participants who also have lupus that affects the whole body are eligible if their main symptom involves the skin and they do not have serious complications from the disease. |
