Intro: The Skin Study Center of the Department of Dermatology is doing basic research into the cellular causes of hair loss (alopecia).
Condition:
Description: The Skin Study Center of the Department of Dermatology is doing basic research into the cellular causes of hair loss (alopecia). Both men and women with permanent hair loss, especially those whose baldness began after age 55, are encouraged to participate. A small scalp biopsy may be taken. Participants will be compensated.
Criteria: Participants may be male and female participants, age 55 and older with hair loss.
